Color as space

Coming up with descriptions for wallpapers is a real challenge for me. Quite often I end up rewriting and polishing the text longer than actually creating the visual itself, that’s the kind of “lol” situation it turns into.

This time, I latched onto Apple’s UltraFusion concept: a technology where two chips are combined to overcome the limitations of a single die. I wanted to translate this idea into design by experimenting with the fusion of color and form.

The result is soft gradients that smoothly flow into one another, creating a sense of depth and a calm, steady rhythm. Here, boundaries fade away, and each fragment becomes part of a unified whole. That’s why the name Fusion came naturally.

P.S. Every time I create wallpapers, I enjoy experimenting with color more and more. For me, it’s the best way to switch gears and take a break from everyday routines. I hope this “calm rhythm” finds a home on your screens as well.
